1. About Arkaan

Arkaan is a Muslim companion app providing:

• Accurate prayer times based on your location
• Qibla direction via compass
• Daily Quran verses
• Home and lock screen widgets
• Prayer notifications

The app is designed for personal, non-commercial religious use.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Arkaan on your personal device for personal use, subject to these terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code
• Use the app for any commercial purpose
• Sublicense or sell access to the app

3. Accuracy of Prayer Times

Prayer times are calculated using established Islamic calculation methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian, etc.) via the adhan library. Results depend on:

• Your device's GPS accuracy
• The calculation method and madhab you have selected
• Your Hijri date offset setting

We do not guarantee that calculated prayer times conform to any specific local mosque schedule or religious authority. Users are responsible for selecting the appropriate calculation method for their region and confirming times with a trusted local source when required.

4. Qibla Direction

Qibla bearing is calculated mathematically from your GPS coordinates toward the Kaaba. Accuracy depends on your device's compass sensor calibration. We do not guarantee compass precision and recommend verifying direction with a physical compass or other reliable source when precision is critical.

5. Quran Content

Quran text and translations included in the app are provided for educational and devotional reference. We have made reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we make no warranty as to the correctness of any translation. For scholarly or legal Islamic matters, consult qualified religious authorities.

6. Arkaan Pro Subscription

What's Included

Arkaan Pro unlocks premium features including:

• Premium notification sounds
• Lock screen Quran widget (iOS)
• Widget theme customization

Billing

Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your App Store / Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.

Renewals and Cancellations

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Manage or cancel your subscription via your App Store or Google Play account settings
• No refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law or App Store / Play Store policies

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to interfere with the app's operation or security
• Keep your device and operating system reasonably up to date

8. No Account Required

Arkaan does not require account creation. All settings and data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or authentication systems.

9. Third-Party Services

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and assets in Arkaan are the property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Quran text and translations are reproduced under their respective licenses and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of prayer times, Qibla direction, or Quran content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for any particular religious, legal, or personal purpose

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on prayer time calculations for time-sensitive matters.

13. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the app at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you for any such changes.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be noted in app update release notes.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
